The primary legislation relating to pension schemes on the Island is the Retirement Benefit Schemes Act 2000. The requirement for an audit is determined by The Retirement Benefit Schemes (Domestic Schemes) (General Administration) Regulations 2004 for domestic schemes and by the Retirement Benefit Schemes (International Schemes) Regulations 2001 for international schemes.
